IADAT-fp2007 Conference  is organized by the International Association for the Development of Advances in Technology - IADAT. In order to achieve IADAT main objectives, namely "to bring together Universities, Research Institution and Industry, and also to promote collaboration and foster cooperation", IADAT announces its First Conference  on Fluid Power Engineering. This Conference will be held in Bilbao (Basque Country - Spain) from November 28th to November 30th, 2007; at the Euskalduna Congress Centre.

Main purpose

The main goal of the IADAT-fp2007 Conference is  to provide an international forum  for researchers, engineers, fluid power specialists from universities as well as industry   and practitioners  for to exchange  ideas, practical experience and   the latest  innovations and results  in all areas of Fluid Power Engineering. This conference will  provide an excellent opportunity   to  present, demonstrate and discuss research, development, applications, and  the latest  innovations and results  in the field of Fluid  Power Engineering and Indiustrial applications.

   Conference Dates      Bilbao (Spain) , November 28-30, 2007  

Notification of  acceptance/rejection of submitted abstract papers will be sent via e-mail before October 15, 2007.


Authors are invited to submit a  summary or extended paper  abstract to  the scientific committee.  The maximum length of the summary or extended abstract should be 3, A4 size pages long, including figures and diagrams. The official language of the IADAT-fp2007 conference will be English. Submissions will be made online at the Conference Web Site 


Authors are invited to submit  original  papers  for Conference presentations on either of the  following categories: academic papers, poster presentations, research projects and  industrial applications. All accepted papers will be published in the printed  proceedings book and included in the Conference Proceedings on CD-ROM.


Selected papers from IADAT-fp2007 will appear in a Issue of the IADAT Journal of Advanced Technology (ISSN 1698-1073).

Instructions For Authors

Abstracts shall be structured according to the Formatting Guidelines for Authors available in the Author Site option. The Author_Site document contains a complete help for the Authors, which includes  the formatting guidelines for paper submission and a detailed description in order to improve the presentation of papers at the Conference.


The registration fees include:

  • Admission to all sessions

  • A printed copy of the Conference Programme

  • A printed copy of the Conference Proceedings Book

  • A CD-ROM copy of the proceedings

  • Coffee breaks

  • Conference Banquet dinner

In order to receive a copy of the Conference Proceedings,  authors are requested to personally attend the conference  and present the accepted paper or poster.
